I have explore and research on this properly in order not to make mistakes and arrived at 5 best and ultimate ways to communicate with your inner self. Stay with me, let's take them one after the other.
FIND A QUIET PLACE
Finding a better quiet place is the first step because you can't really think deeply and effectively in a noisy area, that's why I highly recommend a quiet place. A place that will give you comfort and make sure it's conducive area too.
FIND A QUIET TIME
Time has a lot of role to play here because everything done on earth are all done in time, so a quiet time is required so to be able to relax your mind and body. I recommend night hours because it is the coolest hour for me, but you know the time that best suits you.
BE COMFORTABLE AND DISCONNECT YOURSELF FROM YOUR ENVIRONMENT
It is hard for an effective communication to take place when you are distracted or stressed out. That's why you need to find a comfortable place and disconnect yourself from your environment. What I mean by "disconnect yourself from your environment" is that you have to let go of your worries, troubles, problems, and relax your mind at the moment, because you can't really think effectively and focus mindedly on a topic when other things have taken part of your thinking. You have to relax yourself and mind in a comfortable place, as if the world are all yours. And having done that close your eyes because closing your eyes can help a lot to relax your mind.
MEDITATE FOR AT LEAST 5 MINUTES
Meditation is a strong tool on its own, if you really want to get my true point about meditation, check out my post on meditation. Why I told you to meditate at least 5 minutes is to help relax your mind and allow you to focus and think effectively on the topic. If you can't meditate on your own, I have a gift for you. You can download a guided meditation track which I have found very effective in terms of mind relaxation. Use the meditation track during your 5 minutes meditation, you can find the link to download it below.
THINK EFFECTIVELY ON THE TOPIC AND MAKE YOUR DECISION
Meditation helps you relax your mind on the topic or decision you want to make and by meditating you have opened up your mind to think very effectively and efficiently. Now build the walls around the topic or decision, think about the cons and dots of making the decision. Ask yourself some tricky questions like "If I follow this route where am i expected to be? which destination am i going to arrive at?". "What if i didn't take the decision what will be the consequences or the advantages?" etc. Deciding on the topic is what's left for you to do. But be careful about your decision, your decision must have much more advantages than it's disadvantages.
Summarizing what we have discussed so far, effective communication with your inner self is backed up with finding a quiet, comfortable place and time, disconnecting yourself from your environment and relaxing your mind for effective and efficient thinking on a topic or decision and lastly finding the best out of you by thinking, reasoning and applying your decision on formless substances to be able to know and differentiate the advantages and disadvantages before making the decision.
